So today was a day of firsts for us. New activities and new recipes. Our new activity was rainbow foam this is a recipe I found on happy hooligans, the recipe is so easy it's quick to make and easy to clean up. 2 tablespoons of dishwasher, 0.25 cups of water and food colouring, put it in electric mixer on highest setting for 2 minutes and scoop the foam out into container. You can do this as many times as you want with as many different colors as you want, put all your different colors into a container the colors stay separate until you mix them. We used this as a colouring making activity and then we added cars in one bucket to make a car wash and animals in another to make a grooming parkour. Then when the children were getting bored we added water for water play, this soon became a clean up activity.
Then onto lunch this again was new. I don't know about you but I battle a bit to get vegetables down the little ones, so today we tried something new veggie fingers.
